Faith Is the Evidence
Friday, June 11, 2021

The Apostle Paul wrote that faith is the realization of things hoped for; it is the evidence of things you cannot see.1 Faith is your confidence in what may not be immediately tangible, but you trust that the outcome is in God’s hands. When you have faith, that faith is the confidence that the right answer is on its way. Faith comes before your prayers are answered.

Consider the two blind men who came to Jesus and pleaded with Him to heal them. Jesus asked them, “Do you believe that I can heal you?” When they responded in the affirmative, Jesus replied, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” And they were healed!2

Like a detective on a case, each bit of evidence is a clue leading to the final answer of the mystery. Faith works similarly. Your decision to trust in God and put your faith into action places you on the pathway that will lead you to the answers you seek.

When you believe and proceed with faith and confidence, great things can happen.
